Are you an enthusiastic and experienced SEN HLTA looking to make a real difference every day? We’re on the lookout for passionate professionals to support learners across a range of specialist and mainstream SEND settings in Northampton. What You’ll Be Doing
• Leading whole‑class and small‑group learning in the teacher’s absence, using pre‑planned, SEN‑friendly materials
• Providing high‑quality 1:1 support for pupils with diverse needs (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, Speech & Language, and more)
• Helping shape differentiated lessons and creating inclusive, engaging learning resources
• Using specialist strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, sensory needs, and positive behaviour
• Monitoring progress and contributing to EHCP reviews and personalised learning plans
• Creating a calm, nurturing and structured environment where every pupil can succeed

We’re Looking For
• HLTA status or equivalent qualification
• Strong SEN experience—school, specialist provision, or care backgrounds all welcome
• Solid understanding of SEND strategies and behaviour support approaches
• Excellent communication skills, patience, resilience, and a caring mindset
• Confidence working across a mix of needs, ages, and classroom environments
