We currently have an outstanding opportunity available for a qualified English Teacher in Leicester to join a specialist school who specialises in providing education for student with behavioural needs aged between 9-16 years of age.Your new role
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a specialist team supporting students with complex educational needs.
- Teaching and supporting students with a range of special educational needs (SEN).
- Delivering engaging English lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Setting, marking and providing constructive feedback on assignments, homework, and assessments.
- Supporting pupils in gaining a strong command of spoken and written English, enabling them to communicate confidently and effectively.
What you'll need to succeed
We are seeking someone who is:
- Passionate about working with students with SEND.
- Experienced – ideally with at least 2 years in a SEND environment or similar provision.
- Qualified – QTS/QTLS is essential.
