✨ About the Role
- Teach English to students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and moderate learning difficulties.
- Adapt lessons to meet individual learning profiles, ensuring accessibility and engagement for every student.
- Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and families to create a nurturing, structured environment where students can thrive academically and emotionally.
- Use creative approaches, literature, storytelling, drama, multimedia, to build confidence and communication skills.
- Track progress, set personalised targets, and celebrate every milestone, big or small.

What We’re Looking For

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working with SEN learners, either in a mainstream or specialist setting.
- Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and inclusive practice.
- Excellent communication skills and a calm, empathetic approach.
- A passion for English and a belief in its power to open doors for all learners.
