Your New Job
You will be joining a specialist educational setting in Bolton as a Secondary PE Teacher, with additional responsibility for delivering KS2 Science. This is a full-time role, starting as soon as possible, and will initially be offered on a temporary basis, with the potential for extension or permanency depending on performance and school needs. You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging PE lessons to secondary-aged pupils, while also supporting KS2 learners with accessible and inclusive science teaching. The role requires a flexible and creative approach to meet the diverse needs of learners, many of whom have additional communication needs.

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching PE at secondary level
  • Confidence delivering KS2 Science
  • A passion for inclusive education and supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Willingness to learn or use BSL and other communication tools
  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
