Your new role

As a Secondary School Teacher, you will deliver high quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 where required. You will play a vital role in promoting a positive learning culture, supporting student progress, and contributing to the wider life of the school.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons that meet national curriculum expectations
  • Differentiate teaching to support students of varying abilities and learning needs
  • Track, assess, and record student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Maintain a well‑managed, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency of high‑quality teaching and curriculum delivery
  • Support students with exam preparation and coursework where applicable
  • Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and wider whole‑school initiatives



What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have experience teaching secondary aged students in the UK (all subjects welcomed)
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and effective communication
• Bring recent, relevant UK school-based experience
• Show professionalism, adaptability, and a commitment to raising standards
• Be dedicated to safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people
• Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service—or be willing to apply for one
