The company is embarking on a multi-year transformation program aimed at enhancing resilience, optimising costs, and driving operational efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of technology infrastructure.

Your new role

As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic technology initiatives.

  • Facilitating sprint ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews)
  • Ensuring backlog clarity and prioritisation in collaboration with Product Owners
  • Tracking progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts)
  • Coaching teams on Agile best practices while adapting to waterfall structures
  • Managing day-to-day delivery, ensuring tickets are well-defined and teams are set up for success

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years as a Scrum Master in technology transformation projects
    • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and SDLC
    • Exposure to database migration and open-source technology adoption is a plus
    • The perfect candidate will have experience with PostgreSQL, Apache, and OpenJDK
  • Skills:
    • Excellent facilitation and communication skills
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
    • Proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
    • Ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Proactive, energetic, and organised
    • Quick learner, adaptable, and not defensive when mistakes occur.
    • Comfortable working in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment
    • Technical background or engineering experience is highly advantageous.

What you'll get in return

  • 12-month initial contract (with the idea of extension throughout 2027 and beyond)
  • A collaborative environment that values continuous improvement and innovation
  • Competitive Day rate
