A leading global biopharmaceutical company is seeking a Scientist to join its Mass Spectrometry team within Characterisation and Material Sciences. In this role, you will apply advanced mass spectrometry techniques to characterise post-translational modifications and identify impurities.

Your new role

- Analyse protein therapeutics using mass spectrometry
- Utilise HPLC and electrophoresis as needed
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to regulatory submissions, technical procedures, protocols, and reports
- Communicate analytical issues to senior management & solve scientific problems
- Troubleshoot assays and instruments
- Stay updated on analytical protocols & emerging techniques
- Maintain lab equipment and coordinate repairs

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven expertise in mass spectrometry applications
• Strong knowledge of protein chemistry
• Experience of publishing scientific papers
