About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Alcester/Warwickshire area on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make an immediate impact within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential), ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons in line with the national curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Maintain strong classroom management
Work collaboratively with department staff and wider school team

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Recent UK teaching experience – essential
Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to adapt quickly and hit the ground running
