Science Teacher job in Nottingham – January start
- Start date: 5th January 2026
- End date: February Half Term
- Full-time & long-term role (4 days is an option)
- Teaching Science at KS3 & KS4
We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school in Nottingham who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher. This is a full-time and long-term job until February Half Term in the first instance. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.

- Delivering engaging and creative Science lessons at KS3 & KS4
- Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT's welcome to apply.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
- Recent experience teaching Science at secondary school level.
- Strong behaviour/classroom management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
