Science Teacher – Secondary School (Central Coventry)
Start Date: September Contract: Full-Time Pay: MPS/UPS (ECTs welcome)

Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for your next opportunity in a supportive and forward‑thinking secondary school? We are working alongside a welcoming school in central Coventry that is seeking an enthusiastic Science specialist to join their team from September.
This role would suit both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are keen to develop their practice within a strong and well‑resourced Science department that values curiosity, collaboration, and high standards.

The Role
  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available for the right candidate)
  • Inspire curiosity and a love for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
  • Contribute positively to a thriving department with a clear curriculum vision
  • Support students of mixed abilities to achieve outstanding outcomes

The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) — essential
  • A Science specialist with strong subject knowledge (any specialism welcomed)
  • Enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to high-quality teaching and learning.
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply and will receive excellent mentoring and support.
  • Strong classroom management and a genuine passion for Science education
