Are you a passionate and innovative Design & Technology Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of designers, engineers, and creative problem‑solvers? We are recruiting for a fantastic temporary opportunity within a well‑regarded secondary school in the Coventry area, beginning in the Summer Term.
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled D&T specialist with the ability to deliver engaging, practical, and theory‑based lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will join a supportive department committed to raising achievement and fostering creativity within a positive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Strong subject knowledge across areas of Design & Technology (e.g., Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, Engineering, or Food Technology)
- Ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons that motivate and challenge pupils
- A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour
- Someone adaptable, dedicated, and able to integrate quickly within a friendly and collaborative team.
