Position: Full-Time Science Teacher
Location: North Birmingham
Contract: Until December (with potential extension for the whole academic year)
Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview: The school is looking for a full-time Science teacher to teach up to GCSE level. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall development of the science curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons up to GCSE level.
Access and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Mark student's work and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the science curriculum.
Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching science at secondary school level, preferably up to GCSE.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
