As a consultant with Hays Education, I'm delighted to be supporting a well‑regarded secondary school in Tarleton seeking a committed teacher to join their successful science department. The school is a good school within a strong multi-academy trust, offering a supportive environment, excellent behaviour, and a collaborative staff culture. They are ideally looking for a chemistry specialist, but they are very open to applications from all science disciplines.
The Role: Science Teacher (KS3–KS4)
Full‑time position starting September
Initially for one term minimum, with potential for extension
Deliver engaging and high‑quality lessons across the science curriculum
Join a well‑resourced department with strong leadership
Who They're Looking For
A qualified teacher of science (QTS or QTLS)
Chemistry specialists encouraged to apply, but biology and physics teachers also welcomed
Applications from both experienced teachers and early career teachers
Someone enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to pupil progress
