Your new role

Starting in September, you’ll take on a supply teaching role within the Science department, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
Interviews will be held throughout the summer, so early applications are encouraged. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5, depending on experience).
  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons and adapting content to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a calm, inclusive learning environment.
  • Encouraging students through a friendly, engaging, and supportive teaching style.
  • Promoting scientific thinking, practical investigation, and real-world application.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting (including during training).
