We are seeking an organised, efficient and personable School Office Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our school office.
This is a key role within the school, providing high-quality administrative and organisational support to ensure the smooth running of the school.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors, and will play a vital role in supporting the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the school office, ensuring efficient and professional administrative support
  • Line manage office staff and coordinate workloads and priorities
  • Act as the main point of contact for parents, carers, visitors and external agencies
  • Maintain accurate pupil records and school management information systems
  • Oversee attendance monitoring, admissions and pupil data management
  • Support financial administration, including ordering, invoicing and budget monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with school policies, data protection and safeguarding procedures
  • Provide administrative support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team as required

Essential:
  • Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively in a busy school environment
  • Confidence in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and school MIS
  • Highly professional, discreet and reliable
Desirable:
  • Previous experience working in a school or educational setting
  • Knowledge of school systems, processes and attendance procedures
