Liverpool High School looking for School Data Manager to start January 2026.

Your new company

Hays Education are working with a Liverpool based Secondary School to recruit a School Data Manager. This job is full time, term time only, and fixed term for 12 months.


Your new role

Working alongside the school leadership team, this school data manager job involves leading the strategic and operational management of student data for the school. You will oversee all student related data, ensuring it is accurate and stored effectively, including data relating to attendance, assessment, performance and curriculum.


Key duties for this data manager role will include:
  • Use of Bromcom to input/ store data
  • Producing and presenting reports on selected data as directed by SLT
  • Lead in the development and maintenance of data systems, so information is used effectively
  • Promote best practice in data entry
  • Provide training to staff as required using both in-person sessions and producing guidance literature
  • Generate regular process reports
  • Uphold the schools ethos and data integrity at all times

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this school data manager job you will need:

  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Strong IT skills including using Excel and bespoke school programmes
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different teams within the school structure
  • The confidence to present data reports and training sessions in person
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data input skills

Appointment to this job will involve completing an enhanced DBS check.
