Your new role

• To clean all school areas, including all corridors, stairs, teaching rooms, toilets and bathrooms (both staff and pupils), staff rooms, library, offices and meetings rooms to ensure they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.
• Cleaning is to be done as per agreed specifications using equipment and materials appropriate to the different surfaces.
• To clean and restock toilets with toilet paper and practical rooms with paper towels as appropriate
• To carry out periodic deep cleans during school holidays
• To work with the Caretaker or Site Assistant to prepare for events and clear up afterwards

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience of cleaning duties and knowledge of best practices in cleaning
• Ability to work under their own initiative without supervision
• Aware of the importance of providing a quality service and satisfying the cleaning requirements of the school
• Aware of the importance of hygiene in the workplace
• Ability to work on your own and to work as part of a team
• Reliable
