School Cleaner | Hastings | £13.68 - £15.00 per hour | Temporary | Part – Time

About the Role

This school is looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join their team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. This is a vital role that supports the day-to-day running of the school and contributes to the well-being of the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas to a high standard.
  • Ensure hygiene and safety protocols are always followed.
  • Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.
  • Safely operate cleaning equipment and use appropriate products.
  • Report any maintenance or health and safety issues to the site manager.
  • Support with deep cleaning during school holidays.
What We’re Looking For

  • Previous cleaning experience in a school is desirable.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of health and safety and COSHH regulations.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
