• Ensure the school’s premises are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
• Carry out daily checks on the premises, identifying and reporting any issues or defects.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, repairs, and minor adjustments.

• Assist with ensuring the school’s compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Identify and report potential hazards and take steps to mitigate risks.
• Participate in health and safety training and drills.

• Monitor the school’s premises, ensuring the security of students, staff, and visitors.
• Respond to security breaches or incidents, following school procedures.
• Control access to the school, including managing keys and access cards.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in a similar role within a school or educational setting.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting and carrying.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliability and punctuality.
