A Special Needs School in Sandwell is looking for an experienced Caretaker/Site Services Assistant, to cover on an ongoing basis until they recruit permanent to the role. The role would be a split shift which would be 06:00am - 09.30am and then 2:00pm - 18:00pm - Monday - Thursday, Friday 06:00am - 09:30am.

Your new role

You will be carrying out general care-taking duties which will include opening and closing the premises, basic maintenance/repairs, emptying bins, checking stock and restocking domestics/hygiene. The role will also include health and safety checks of grounds and opening and closing of the site.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience ideally of working as a caretaker within a school or similar background. You also need to have a recent enhanced DBS check and experience that Hays can reference.
