Your new role

• Oversee key business functions including finance, HR, health and safety, and premises management
• Maintain and manage the Single Central Record and ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures
• Lead on budget planning, financial reporting, and resource allocation
• Line manage administrative and support staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment
• Contribute to whole-school planning and decision-making as part of the SLT
• Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school, supporting leadership and staff across departments

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience working as a School Business Manager within a primary or secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of school finance systems, HR processes, and statutory compliance
• Confident leadership and line management skills
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities
• A proactive and professional approach to problem-solving and strategic planning
• Availability to start as soon as possible
