Primary School Administrator Job Available in Glossop

A Primary School in Glossop is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a key role within the school, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.


Location: Glossop, SK13
Contract Type: Temporary for 4 Weeks, Permanent Thereafter
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £27,088 - £29,062 DOE

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide front-of-house support, welcoming visitors, parents, and pupils in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate pupil records and assist with attendance monitoring.
  • Support the leadership team with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
  • Assist with school communications, newsletters, and event coordination.
  • Liaise with external agencies and suppliers as required.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a school office role is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the use of school MIS - SIMS, Bromcom, Arbor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
