School Administrator – South Gloucestershire

Start Date: 12th January 2026 (with a handover day the week before)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:45pm

Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

We are seeking a School Administrator to join a welcoming and busy office team at a thriving 3-form entry primary school in South Gloucestershire . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to support the smooth running of the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support within the school office.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to parent emails promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor daily attendance and issue attendance letters to parents as required.
  • Maintain accurate records using Arbor (experience essential).
  • Assist with other office tasks as directed by the leadership team.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a school office or similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Arbor MIS system.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • First Aid training would be an advantage.
