Scheduler | 12 week temp assignment | Attractive hybrid options | Full-time

Your new company

A well‑established services organisation in the Warrington area is looking for two experienced schedulers to support their busy scheduling team during a peak period.
Due to a recent restructure and seasonal backlog, the team needs additional hands to help manage incoming and outgoing calls, book appointments, and keep workflow running smoothly. If you’re organised, confident on the phone, and comfortable working with scheduling systems, this is a great opportunity to step into a friendly, supportive team and make an immediate impact.

Your new role

  • Making outbound calls to customers to arrange required service appointments
  • Handling inbound calls from customers returning messages or rearranging bookings
  • Using the database (full training provided) to log call outcomes
  • Managing a personal project workload of approximately 100 calls per week (expected to reduce once the team is fully resourced)
  • Scheduling appointment slots and ensuring surveyors’ diaries are accurately maintained
  • Working closely with the Scheduling Manager and wider team to keep workflows on track
  • Supporting the team with general administrative and coordination tasks as needed

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in call handling, scheduling, coordination, or a similar administrative role
  • Confident, professional telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a steady volume of calls
  • Comfortable using computer systems and updating records accurately
  • Someone reliable, proactive, and ready to hit the ground running
  • Able to interview and start immediately

What you'll get in return

  • Approx. 12‑week temporary assignment
  • Week 1 office‑based (to complete training and collect equipment)
  • 1 day in the office, 4 days working from home with the potential for the role to be fully remote once trained
  • The existing team typically works in the office on Wednesdays, but additional office time is available if you’d like it
  • Informal Teams interview — quick and straightforward
You’ll be joining a small, welcoming team including the Scheduling Manager and several experienced schedulers who will support you as you get up to speed.
