Hays is currently recruiting experienced Sales Trainers in Essex and Wales.

About the Role
This is a key opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and improving the performance, knowledge, and confidence of sales agents within one of the largest private healthcare providers in the UK. Working as part of a national network of trainers, you will design, deliver, and evaluate engaging training initiatives that empower teams to deliver ethical, patient-focused, and compliant sales conversations.
The role combines classroom-based learning, on-the-job coaching, and performance evaluation, ensuring each team member provides exceptional patient experiences while achieving sales objectives.

Location: two roles available: Cardiff, Wales and Brentwood, Essex
Employment Type: Permanent / Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programmes to support induction and continuous staff development.
Create engaging learning materials, presentations, and e-learning modules that align with company processes and compliance standards.
Facilitate new-hire onboarding to ensure confidence in healthcare products, systems, and compliance.
Conduct refresher sessions covering product updates, sales approaches, and regulatory changes.
Provide one-to-one and group coaching to improve communication and sales effectiveness.
Work with managers to identify knowledge gaps and tailor learning interventions.
Collaborate with compliance, HR, and quality teams to ensure ethical and consistent sales practices.
Measure the impact of training through reporting, feedback and performance analysis.
Stay updated with the latest developments in healthcare sales, contact centre technology and adult learning.

What you must have
Experience in a sales trainer, sales manager, or sales enablement role – ideally within the healthcare, contact centre or any other regulated environment.
Experienced in designing and delivering engaging training across varied teams.
Strong background in sales and customer service, with a deep understanding of ethical selling and compliance.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
Confident using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Microsoft Office tools.
Skilled in analysing performance data to inform training strategies.
Empathetic and emotionally intelligent approach to team development.
