Sales Ledger job - hybrid working in Worcester.

Your new company


Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Ledger Clerk to join their Transactional Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate customer accounts, managing payment processing, and contributing to a smooth-running finance function.

Your new role


  • Reviewing bank for incoming payments and correctly inputting them into customer accounts
  • Raising invoices, credit notes, and customer statements, and ensuring timely distribution
  • Uploading invoices and credits for credit-approved customers
  • Allocating payments with accuracy and efficiency
  • Updating weekly cash flow and reporting financial figures to stakeholders
  • Raising stock orders and compiling commission statements
  • Conducting monthly reconciliations of the accounts
  • Applying for customer credit limits
  • Supporting customer queries and providing financial assistance as needed
  • Assisting in the organisation of work-related events and activities
  • Carrying out any additional duties reasonably required
