You’ll be joining a highly respected technology manufacturer specialising in advanced electronic and connectivity solutions used across commercial, industrial, and integrated systems environments. The business has a long-standing reputation for engineering excellence, customer‑centric innovation, and delivering reliable, high‑performance products to clients across the UK and internationally. Operating from its established Manchester headquarters, the company is in an exciting growth phase and is now seeking a driven Customer Sales Manager to support expansion across new and existing accounts.

Your new role

As a Customer Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in winning, maintaining, and expanding customer relationships within your assigned territory. You’ll be responsible for driving new opportunities, nurturing existing accounts, and supporting the ongoing growth of the business.

You’ll work closely with technical sales support whenever customers require customised solutions, and act as a key communication link between clients and internal engineering teams.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bring new customers on board and maintain long‑term relationships with existing accounts.
  • Understand customer and business needs in order to cross‑sell and up‑sell the company’s full product range.
  • Coordinate with support and management teams to meet customer expectations.
  • Act as the communication bridge between customers and internal engineering teams.
  • Contribute to wider sales strategy including:
    • Monthly sales reviews
    • New account development
    • Re‑engagement of resurfaced customers
    • Identification of improvement areas
    • Consistent branding and messaging across customer‑facing channels
    • Budget reviews
    • Supporting service teams
    • Appointment booking
    • International customer reviews
  • Assess, clarify, and validate customer needs regularly, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other sales managers to avoid conflict and support shared goals.
  • Coordinate with customer personnel to maximise sales.
  • Manage sales funnels, forecasting, and conversion of new opportunities.
  • Drive and execute sales and marketing campaigns.

What you'll get in return

  • Ideally educated to Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Sales or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the relevant industry landscape.

  • Flexibility to travel to customer sites as required.
