MEP Revit Technician - Prominent M&E Contractor - Newtownabbey

Your new company

A well-established and respected M&E Contractor with over 25 years of success is seeking a Revit Technician to join their growing projects division. Known for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical services across healthcare, education, commercial, heritage, residential, and hospitality sectors, they specialise in both new build and refurbishment projects throughout NI and the UK.

Your new role

You’ll take ownership of your own projects while contributing to coordinated BIM delivery across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage detailed MEP Revit models (ductwork, piping, containment, equipment).
  • Produce construction and fabrication drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with architectural and structural teams to resolve clashes and ensure spatial efficiency.
  • Conduct model reviews and quality checks to meet project and industry standards.
  • Manage documentation and version control within CDEs (Viewpoint, Aconex, Asite).
  • Stay current with BIM tools and participate in ongoing training.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, with hands-on MEP modelling experience.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
  • Able to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with BIM tools like Navisworks and Dynamo is a plus.
