Your new role

As Revenue Manager, you’ll lead a high-performing team across billing and credit control functions. You’ll be responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting system transformation initiatives. Your role will include:
  • Managing and mentoring direct reports to meet billing and cash collection targets
  • Acting as the escalation point for billing and credit control issues
  • Overseeing invoice processing, including eBilling and compliance with HMRC/SRA rules
  • Supporting the implementation of new practice management systems
  • Leading WIP and unpaid bill reviews with fee earners and partners
  • Monitoring time recording accuracy and driving behavioural improvements
  • Building strong relationships across departments and with external stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you must have:
  • A minimum of 3 years’ revenue management experience within a law firm
  • Strong working knowledge of legal billing systems (Elite 3E experience is a plus)
  • Advanced Excel skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Experience in change management or system upgrades is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across teams
  • A proactive, organised approach with the ability to work independently
