Your new company
Your new company is a telecommunications infrastructure manufacturer who operate all over the globe. Their headquarters are based in beautiful, high-spec offices in the City of London, and they operate a hybrid working policy of 3 days in the office, 2 days from home. This is the first position that the company are hiring within a brand-new team, a fantastic opportunity to develop your career, in a position where the progression opportunities are baked in!
Your new role
The role is a brand-new position, joining the finance team. Your duties will include:
- Reviewing the audit process around the revenue cycle.
- Reading contracts and making sure correct rates are applied to invoices.
- Reviewing pricing details when contracts are up for renewal.
- Comparing monthly and quarterly revenue cycles and identifying preventable losses.
- Supporting in reconciliations and credit control processes to enhance cash-flow.
- Completing financial models.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need to be used to reading contracts and invoices and be adept at spotting discrepancies between rates on contracts and rates on bills. Ideally, you will have worked for at least 2 years in a B2B commercial environment and have a basic understanding of profit and loss, and balance sheets. Billing, reporting and auditing roles within telecoms, real estate and banking sectors will provide you with the right background to succeed in this role. You will also need to have experience creating financial models.
