Responsive repairs and maintenance operative

Your new company

Working on a temporary contract for a sheltered housing contractor who works to provide housing to refugees and the homeless.

Your new role

  • Carry out responsive repairs across multiple trades (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling).
  • Diagnose faults and determine the most effective solutions.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to tenants and clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in multiple trades within property maintenance.
  • Full UK driving licence – this role requires travel between properties.
  • An own vehicle is provided for this role for the first 12 weeks (van provided after probation).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What you'll get in return

  • Petrol allowance is paid for any mileage during work hours.
