Resourcing Project Manager – WORKDAY SME

Resourcing Project Manager
London | Hybrid (2 days per week in office) 35 hours per week

Your new company

Join a forward‑thinking organisation committed to transforming how it attracts, engages and hires talent. You’ll be part of a collaborative HR function that plays a central role in shaping future workforce strategy. Within a dedicated Resourcing team of five, you will support the optimisation of recruitment operations and be instrumental in driving innovation across systems, processes and candidate experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a highly visible role where your expertise in resourcing technology—particularly Workday—will directly influence strategic decisions and the evolution of recruitment capability.

Your new role

As the Resourcing Business Partner, you will lead and deliver key resourcing projects that enhance how the organisation attracts talent. Acting as the subject-matter expert for Workday Recruiting, you’ll evaluate how the system is currently used, identify opportunities for improvement and articulate a clear vision and roadmap for future optimisation.
You will build and manage project delivery from end to end, ensuring stakeholders understand the journey and are aligned at every stage. This includes partnering closely with HR Systems, leveraging recruitment data and MI to inform decisions, and championing digital and AI‑enabled solutions to streamline processes and elevate the candidate and hiring manager experience.
Your work will drive continuous improvement, increase efficiency, strengthen system capability and directly contribute to more inclusive and effective hiring practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading resourcing projects focused on systems optimisation and workflow improvement.
  • Acting as the SME for Workday Recruiting—improving utilisation, functionality and adoption.
  • Building project roadmaps and articulating a clear delivery vision to senior stakeholders.
  • Assessing how recruitment technology—particularly AI solutions—can add value.
  • Enhancing candidate and hiring manager experience through digital and automated solutions.
  • Partnering with HR Systems to support upgrades, integrations, testing and documentation.
  • Using MI, dashboards and analytics to shape project priorities and system enhancements.

What you’ll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you’ll bring a blend of project delivery expertise, systems knowledge and strong stakeholder influence. You will need:
  • Proven experience working with Workday Recruiting (non‑negotiable).
  • Experience delivering resourcing or recruitment systems projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and the value of technology in talent acquisition.
  • Ability to build roadmaps, manage project timelines and present a clear vision to stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills—able to bring people on the journey.
  • Confidence working with recruitment metrics, dashboards and MI to inform decisions.
  • Awareness of emerging Tech and AI in recruitment and how it can enhance capability.
  • A proactive, curious mindset with the ability to think innovatively and strategically.

What you’ll get in return

  • A strategic and influential role within a supportive resourcing team.
  • Hybrid working, with 2 days per week in the London office.
  • Opportunity to lead meaningful projects that shape the future of recruitment.
  • Exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to drive technology‑led transformation.
  • Competitive salary and benefits aligned to your experience.
