Resourcing Advisor | 3 Months Temporary Role | £31,700 - £36,090 | Manchester Centre | Hybrid

Hays is partnering with a large, public sector organisation to recruit a Resourcing Advisor on a 3 month temporary basis, to join their established People function. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape recruitment outcomes, influence hiring capability, and contribute to organisation‑wide resourcing improvements.

The Role

As a Resourcing Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering a high‑quality, future‑focused recruitment service. You’ll work closely with managers across the organisation, providing expert advice, leading recruitment campaigns, supporting with projects and supporting continuous improvement of resourcing processes.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:
  • Leading recruitment campaigns end‑to‑end, ensuring a fair, consistent and engaging process for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Advising and coaching managers on recruitment, selection and onboarding best practice.
  • Using HR data and insights to evaluate recruitment effectiveness and propose improvements.
  • Developing attraction strategies, including targeted sourcing, social media engagement and employer brand alignment.
  • Building talent pipelines for hard‑to‑fill roles and engaging with external partners.
What You’ll Need

  • Experience providing resourcing support within a professional HR environment.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment and selection good practice.
  • Ability to work with HR systems to produce data and insights.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
