Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Your new role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and committed Resource Base Class Teacher to join a brand-new SEND provision in a Primary School based in South Birmingham, opening in September 2026.

This role offers the chance to be part of a specialist resource base designed to support pupils with communication and interaction needs, particularly Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). You will play a key role in delivering a bespoke, high-quality curriculum tailored to meet the needs of pupils, ensuring they achieve the very best outcomes both academically and socially.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will:
  • Be a qualified teacher with experience in primary, early years, or SEND settings
  • Have a strong understanding of Autism and communication needs
  • Demonstrate a track record of high-quality teaching and inclusive practice
  • Be adaptable, resilient and committed to supporting pupils with complex needs
  • Have experience (or a strong interest) in working with pupils with EHCPs and differentiated curriculum pathways
  • Be confident working collaboratively with support staff, SENCo, parents and external agencies
