Hays is currently recruiting a Band 6 worker specialising in Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards assessments.
You will carry out community DoLS assessments in line with legislative and best-practice requirements, ensuring individuals’ rights and freedoms are upheld.
About the Role:
Band 6 Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) Practitioner / Worker
Location: Remote (with some face-to-face assessments in Bath, North East Somerset, Swindon & Wiltshire if identified – the ICB will aim to limit these)
Hours/Shifts: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (full-time) Contract Type: Temporary, starting ASAP until 31st December 2025

Requirements:
Experience of completing community DoLS assessments.
Competence in the Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding law.
Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work remotely.
Professional registration (e.g. NMP, HCPC)
