Regulatory Reporting Subject-Matter Expert

Support regulatory reporting assurance by implementing governance and controls to ensure accurate, complete, and timely reporting across multiple regimes. Act as a key point of contact for regulatory change management within Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage governance for regulatory reporting changes.
  • Validate and sign off on changes impacting reporting obligations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance.
  • Support UAT testing and define test strategies to detect reporting issues.
  • Maintain MI dashboards and conduct periodic reviews of reporting quality.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in regulatory reporting.
Requirements
  • Solid experience in regulatory reporting, trades and transactions or assurance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of MiFID II, EMIR, CFTC, SBSD; familiarity with HKMA and CSA.
  • Understanding of trade life cycles and financial products (Equities, Bonds, Derivatives).
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with XML, Power BI, and APA/ARM tools is a plus.
