Our client, a leading global organisation, is seeking an experienced EHS Regulatory Data Specialist to join their team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring product stewardship and regulatory excellence across international markets.

The Role:
As an EHS Regulatory Data Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of the product safety function, managing critical chemical data within the SAP EHS system. Your work will directly support global compliance efforts and ensure the integrity of safety data across a wide portfolio of substances and mixtures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and cleanse EHS data records in SAP EHS for substances and mixtures.
  • Review toxicological, ecotoxicological, and physico-chemical data from internal and external sources (e.g., SDS, ECHA).
  • Apply automated rule sets in SAP EHS to drive data accuracy and inheritance.
  • Classify and label substances/mixtures per GHS and European CLP regulations.
  • Update master data to reflect evolving regulatory requirements (e.g., ATPs).
  • Support system testing (UAT) and manage regulatory content uploads.
  • Execute mass data corrections and ensure full documentation compliance.

About You:
You’re a scientifically-minded, analytical professional with a strong foundation in chemistry and regulatory affairs. You thrive in technical environments and understand the importance of precision in regulated industries.

What You’ll Bring:
  • In-depth knowledge of GHS and European CLP regulations.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Toxicology, or Ecotoxicology.
  • Hands-on expertise in SAP EHS, including rule-set application and data inheritance.
  • Proven ability to classify substances and mixtures; knowledge of dangerous goods is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience supporting cross-functional teams.
