Registered Manager - Residential Childcare Support - Wilmslow / Manchester - Full time

We are looking to recruit for a permanent position for a prestigious care service in the Wilmslow area of Manchester.

This service provides a wrap-around care setting for vulnerable girls with EBD / Trauma and neglect in a residential setting.

They believe in working together to provide a safe and stable home that promotes British values, rights and diversity.

They help students from 8 to 18 years of age to help them overcome social and educational inequalities and encourage youths to become active and resourceful in their community. They work with a variety of outside agencies and resources to help provide award-winning care and protection.

This home is a 4 bed home and has excellent fascilities to help children overcome trauma. They are a tight-knit workforce who excel in all they do. They will accept a Deputy for this position to enable someone to move up.

Hays Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a dynamic home which works with children's emotional behaviour disorder (EBD) service in Wilmslow, Manchester - they require a motivated and reliable Registered Manager to come onboard with their already established and award-winning service. This is a full-time contract with full training and DBS provided. You will have the opportunity to be a part of and run this established setting.


Your new role.

In your new role as a Registered Manager will see you working with leadership to ensure a smooth day-to-day running of the service. You will help run the development, implementation, and maintenance of exceptional care services and will lead, by example, managing the team, completing service/care reviews, and training. You will be working Monday-Friday and must be flexible with your working pattern.


What you'll need to succeed.

In order to be successful with your application, you need:

- Full "Right to Work" in the UK
- A minimum of 2 years of referenceable experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Child and Young People Workforce as a Deputy
- Has supervised and ran a team for at least a year
- Has deputised for a year-
- Will have a robust training programme for CPD
- Has level 5 leadership and management (or enroled and soon to finish)
- Has a track record with Ofsted and a provable history of “GOOD” rating
- Will have supervision and mentoring
