Registered Manager, Adults Registered Manager

Your new role

Effectively oversee the daily operations of the service, ensuring resource allocation and performance monitoring to deliver a high-quality domiciliary care service within budget. Provide strong leadership and manage all staff resources, ensuring that each team member understands their duties and responsibilities and receives the necessary support to perform their roles.
Deliver a comprehensive service to clients’ customers, adhering to all internal standards and processes, as well as external care regulatory requirements. Strive to ensure compliance with CQC standards, aiming to exceed them whenever possible.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or equivalent.
  • GCSEs in Maths and English.
Experience:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a domiciliary care setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
  • Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Competence in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Proficiency in using care management software and other relevant IT systems.
Personal Qualities:

  • Commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Empathy and compassion towards service users.
  • Integrity and reliability.
  • The ability to work under pressure and remain calm in challenging situations.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to service improvement.
Other Requirements:

  • Full, clean driving license.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal office hours when required.
