Regional Fundraiser, fixed-term to Sept 2026, home-based with regional travel

Your new company

Hays are working exclusively with a leading national charity dedicated to supporting people affected by dementia through research, advice, community engagement and advocacy. With a strong presence across the UK, this organisation makes a real difference to those living with dementia and their families through fundraising initiatives and support services.

Your new role

As the Regional Fundraiser, you will be the fundraising face of the charity in your area, building trusted relationships and inspiring support to maximise income and awareness. You'll be responsible for generating income up to £100k across three key streams: corporate partnerships, community groups and associations, and individual giving initiatives.

Working remotely with regular travel across your designated region, you'll develop and execute local fundraising strategies, provide exceptional supporter stewardship, and proactively identify new income opportunities to exceed targets.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong track record of meeting financial targets and KPIs
  • Excellent new business acquisition and pipeline development skills
  • Experience in supporter stewardship and account management
  • Budget management and financial reporting capabilities
  • Ability to recruit and manage volunteers effectively
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Full driving licence and access to a car for regular regional travel
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events
