A high growth, listed Mining business are looking to build out their London HQ with an up and coming Controller to take on an Regional Controller role.

Your new role
Reporting into the FD/CFO, this role will be centred around extracting commercial information from the business and finance team and driving performance across the business. Working as with a strong reporting team, this role is all about being the interface with the business, working with operations and budget holders to challenge the numbers and drive deep analysis, especially with regards to valuations as well as CAPEX & OPEX.

Duties

• Run and chair meetings with budget holders to understand business need
• Variance analysis on budgets versus forecast
• Presentation of board report
• Influence strategic business decision making.
• Valuation
• CAPEX & OPEX reporting

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant who genuinely wants to help a business to grow. This role requires strong communication along with an aptitude to commercialise decision making processes by presenting financial information in reasoned and informed manner
