Regional Account Manager, London, £40,000 + Car/30% Bonus, FMCG, Immediate Start!
Our client, the leading supplier of Bakery Products/Ingredients across the UK, are looking to recruit an experienced, personable Account Manager/Area Sales Manager to join their growing operation. Working on a remote contract (with one day a week in the London HQ and the remainder working from home/out in the field meeting with clients), this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate!
Our client have been established for over 60 years, boast a workforce of over 400 FTE and annual revenue of close to £300m. They offer an incredible combination of competitive prices and exceptional customer service, and offer a wide range of products to their client base. Due to their growth, they are now seeking one more candidate to join their London-focused Sales/Account Management team - in a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing an existing portfolio of 400 B2B clients (primarily Cafe's/Bakeries/Pâtisseries, etc)
- Conducting regular performance reviews to ensure satisfaction/grow spend
- Developing new business through outbound contact/cold-calls (lots of warm leads to run through!)
- Owning the account base across Central London/South London
- Working to a range of sales/margin targets
- Establishing and maintaining accurate customer records/pricing files
- Working autonomously - managing own diary when planning/conducting client meetings (expected: 3 days a week meeting clients/2 days a week working from home)
In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:
- Experience of owning/growing external B2B client accounts in an Area Sales/Account Management capacity (preferably FMCG but open to industry!)
- Excellent IT skills (Excel/PowerPoint proficient)
- Fun, sociable personality!
In addition to a very competitive basic salary of £40,000, our client are also offering the following:
- Company Car (with all travel expensed - including train/tube fare for Central London clients)
- Up to 30% annual bonus (£12,000) - paid in parts monthly and annually
- Remote-working contract (required to be in London HQ once a month, with remainder of travel to clients of your own organisation)
- Private healthcare
- Fantastic pension plan
