Temporary HR/Recruitment Administrator job in Stafford supporting onboarding, compliance, and recruitment

Your new role
As a Temporary HR/Recruitment Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process. Working closely with the HR and recruitment team, you will ensure that administrative processes run smoothly, and that candidates receive a high-quality experience throughout the hiring life cycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating recruitment administration, including scheduling interviews and managing diaries
- Supporting candidate onboarding processes, including compliance checks and documentation
- Maintaining accurate records on HR and recruitment systems
- Preparing contracts, offer letters, and associated documentation
- Liaising with candidates, hiring managers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication
- Supporting pre-employment checks such as right-to-work and reference requests
- Assisting with recruitment campaigns and advert posting
- Producing reports and updating trackers to support recruitment activity
- Providing general administrative support to the wider HR function
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, working with people, and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience in HR administration or recruitment support and be confident in managing multiple priorities.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an HR or recruitment administration role
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience coordinating interviews and managing candidate communication
- Knowledge of onboarding and compliance processes (right-to-work, references, etc.)
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage a high-volume workload
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work
