We are urgently looking for an experienced Recovery Worker / Criminal Justice Coordinator in Warrington.

Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week). Some Tuesday evening shifts 11-7, rather than 9-5. Dates: asap - 2 months (Temporary Contract, will be reviewed after 2 months) Pay Rate: between £18 PAYE or £21/hr umbrella (no limited companies)

Your new role
Build strong referral and treatment pathways with prisons, probation, police custody, and hostels
You will predominately be carrying a caseload of alcohol/non opiate clients.
Complete assessments, recovery plans, risk assessments, and triage referrals
Coordinate psychosocial, clinical, and harm‑reduction interventions
Support service users to build recovery capital and engage with mutual aid
Work autonomously across community and custodial settings
Contribute to multi‑agency working and service operations

Essential Qualifications and Experience
You must have a good understanding and experience of working alongside probation and prisons.
Experience of working within substance use
Understanding of issues faced by people in criminal justice settings
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is a must.
Sound and demonstrable knowledge of harm reduction and health promotion interventions
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
