Your new role
The successful candidate will provide support to service users in a safe environment. They will work closely with people suffering from drug and alcohol addiction, providing clients with support from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey. They will do so by providing screenings, assessments, psychosocial interventions, recovery planning and onward referrals.
Other responsibilities will include
1-1 key work
POD, group work and clinical interventions.

What you'll need to succeed
6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE AS A RECOVERY WORKER: ESSENTIAL
Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working in a related field.
Experience working within similar environments.
Excellent communication skills
Teamwork skills
Ability to navigate a challenging situation
Post subject to enhanced DBS check

Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 hours.
