Exciting Receptionist Role – Full Time 5 Days Office

  • You will work closely with the London Office Manager and support teams across the business

Your new role

  • Act as the face of the business, providing a warm and professional welcome to all visitors
  • Manage switchboard calls for London and regional offices, taking accurate messages and screening sales calls
  • Maintain a tidy, well‑presented reception area, kitchen, meeting rooms, and stationery supplies
  • Book, prepare, and manage meeting rooms, including arranging refreshments
  • Support seminars, training sessions, and evening events, including room setup and clear‑down
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post, frank mail, and arrange couriers with tracking
  • Monitor the London mailbox and forward emails promptly
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as creating notepads, printing, posting, and updating internal systems
  • Provide ad hoc support to the Office Manager and wider teams as required

What you'll need to succeed

  • A polite, friendly, and professional manner with a confident telephone voice
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational ability with the capacity to multitask and prioritise
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • High attention to detail and strong reliability, punctuality, and efficiency
  • Ability to work independently, using initiative and problem‑solving skills
  • Professional personal presentation and strong interpersonal skills
  • Confidence interacting with colleagues and visitors at all levels
