Your new company
An Insurance firm based in London are recruiting for a Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis on a temporary contract. You must be immediately available to start. The role is Monday- Friday 09:00-17:30 and you are required to travel to the office five days a week.
Your new role
Your new role will be responsible for meeting and greeting visitors, ensuring the office environment is maintained to a high standard.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Answering all incoming calls and re-routing or taking messages where necessary.
- Meeting and greeting all visitors/clients on arrival at reception.
- Sort and open all incoming post, stamp and direct to the relevant division or person.
- Management of meeting rooms and booking system
- Management of front door system and creating access passes.
- Management of lunch orders for meetings
- Organising couriers and cars.
- Deal with all outgoing post: (Weighing/Franking/Special Delivery/FedEx etc.)
- Liaising with external suppliers
- Monitor health and safety requirements
- Assist with HR Administration and Accounts duties from time to time
- Undertaking a wide range of ad hoc tasks and duties as and when required.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will need to have proven relevant experience. You will need to have good knowledge of MS office, primarily Word, Power Point and Excel. You need to have excellent communication skills, and have the ability to match your communication style to the specifics of the situation and audience. You need to apply sound judgement in responding to circumstances, always keeping discretion in mind. If you are a self starter who can work independently and as part of a team this role would be an ideal fit for you. You need to be able to work under pressure and to deadlines, managing multiple responsibilities with unwavering attention to detail.
