• Planning and delivering engaging, play‑based learning experiences that support early development across all EYFS areas.
• Creating a warm, inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, confident and eager to explore.
• Working closely with teaching assistants and EYFS colleagues to ensure consistency and high‑quality provision.
• Observing, assessing and recording children’s progress, using this information to shape next steps in learning.
• Contributing positively to the wider school community and modelling the school’s values in daily practice.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Experience teaching within the EYFS, ideally in a Reception setting.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS framework.
• Warm, nurturing approach with the ability to build trusting relationships with young learners.
• Confident communication skills and a collaborative working style.
