At Hays Education, we are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Preston to recruit an enthusiastic Reception Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated Early Years team and make a lasting impact on pupils during this crucial stage of learning.

Your new role

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Foster a nurturing environment that supports children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to ensure high-quality provision.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support each child’s progress.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Early Years.

• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development.

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
