Your new school

Hays Education is working with a welcoming and community focused primary school in South Shropshire, seeking a dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team for the summer term. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a delightful class of young learners in a supportive environment with strong staffing in place.

Your new role

• 1 full time Teaching Assistant, and
• 1 full time TA providing 1:1 support within the classroom.

• A small, well supported Reception class
• Two full time TAs to support high quality teaching and learning
• A friendly, collaborative staff team
• A well resourced EYFS environment where children love to explore and learn

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in Early Years, ideally in a Reception setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• A caring manner and an ability to build positive relationships with young learners
• The confidence to put effective boundaries and routines in place
• Strong communication skills and a team focused approach
